Our Process

How the Process Works

1. Reserve Your Spot

Because resin preservation takes time and space is limited, we recommend booking as soon as you know your event date. This ensures we’re ready to receive and preserve your flowers right away. (Purchased your package then send us an email with your order number and event date.)

2. Sending Your Flowers

After your event, you’ll package and ship (or drop off) your flowers using our detailed care and shipping instructions. The sooner we receive them, the better we can preserve their natural beauty. (We suggest assigning someone this task)

3. Careful Preparation

Once your flowers arrive, we sort, trim, and prepare them for drying. Each bloom is handled by hand to maintain its color, shape, and delicate details.

4. Drying Process

Your flowers are dried using techniques that help preserve their color and structure. This stage can take several weeks, depending on the type of blooms and moisture levels.

5. Custom Design Planning

Before casting, we work with you to plan the arrangement of your flowers in your chosen keepsake design (block, tray, coaster set, etc.). You’ll get a preview or design notes to ensure the layout feels personal and meaningful.

6. Resin Casting

Flowers are arranged and preserved layer by layer in high-quality resin. This process requires patience, as each layer must cure fully before the next is poured to prevent bubbles and ensure strength.

7. Curing & Finishing Touches

Once casting is complete, your piece undergoes a full curing process. We then sand, polish, and finish the surface so your keepsake has a crystal-clear, smooth shine.

8. Quality Check & Packaging

Every piece is inspected to make sure it meets our quality standards. Then, it’s carefully packaged to protect it during shipping.

9. Delivery to You

Your completed keepsake is shipped back to you, ready to be displayed as a timeless reminder of your special day.

Timeless Bloomery Shipping Instructions

1. Timing Your Shipment

  • Ship your flowers as soon as possible after your event, ideally the next day, to ensure freshness and vibrant colors.
  • If you can’t ship next day make sure to put the flowers in water after your event.
  • Use overnight or 2-day shipping whenever possible to minimize transit time.

2. Preparing Your Flowers

  • Trim stems to about 2–3 inches from the base.
  • Hydrate your flowers: Wrap the stems in a damp paper towel, then cover with plastic wrap to keep them moist.
  • Remove any wilted or damaged petals/leaves to help the blooms look their best.

3. Packing Your Flowers

  • Use a sturdy shipping box that is slightly larger than your flowers.
  • Cushion flowers with soft packing materials (bubble wrap, tissue paper, or crumpled paper) so they don’t move during transit.
  • Make sure the blooms are secure but not crushed—resin preservation requires intact petals and stems.
  • Clearly label the box: “Perishable—Flowers” to alert carriers to handle with care.

4. Choosing a Carrier

  • We recommend UPS or FedEx for reliable overnight or 2-day shipping.
  • Always save your tracking number and share it with us if requested.

5. Drop-Off Option

  • If you live locally, you may drop off your flowers in person. This avoids shipping stress and allows immediate processing.

6. Arrival & Confirmation

  • Once your flowers arrive at our studio, we inspect them for quality.
  • You’ll receive a confirmation email or text letting you know your blooms are ready for the preservation process.

7. Special Notes

  • Avoid extreme temperatures—do not ship in freezing weather without insulated packaging.
  • Flowers with delicate petals (like peonies or ranunculus) require extra care; follow special instructions included with your order.
  • our whole process can take up to 4 or 5 months.
